(EFE) – Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United fell this Saturday against West Ham United (1-2) and equaled their worst league start in the Premier League, after not having won in the first six days.
It is the first time that Leeds, since Bielsa is in charge, accumulate six games in a row without winning. The last time he did not win any of his first six league games in the top flight was in the 1935-1936 campaign.
This Saturday, he took the lead with a left-footed shot from Brazilian Raphinha, but West Ham came back in the second half with an own goal from Junior Firpo and a goal from Michail Antonio, who returned after suspension, in the 90th minute.
The ‘Whites’ are antepenultimate in the table, with three points, only above Burnley, who has two, and Norwich City, who have lost all six of their games on their return to the Premier League.
