(ESPN.com) – Deportivo Maldonado beat River Plate 2-1 at Saroldi Park for the third date of the Clausura Tournament. The visiting team had a great performance from Lucas Viatri on their debut.

Depor hit at the right times and took a very important victory to end a very tough nine-game winless streak.

Lucas Viatri opened the penalty mark in the 44th minute, while Eduardo Darias closed the match in the discounts with a heads up in which he calmly defined before the departure of Salvador Ichazo.
