The wide receiver will miss Sunday’s game after being placed on the reserve / COVID-19 list.
The wide receiver of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Antonio Brown, did not make the trip to The Angels and is discarded for Sunday’s game against the Rams, a source told Adam Schefter from ESPN this Saturday.
Brown was placed in the reservation list / COVID-19 in the league earlier this week and head coach Bruce Arians indicated Friday that he was “very questionable” for Sunday’s game.
Brown I would have needed to be completely asymptomatic for 24 hours and pass two COVID-19 tests 24 hours apart before being allowed to make the trip, according to NFL rules.
Arians expressed optimism that Brown could come back next week, when the Bucs travel to Foxborough, Massachusetts, to play the New England Patriots in one of the most anticipated games of the season throughout the league.
