The results pay off for Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos who qualified for the ATP Finals for the second year in a row.
In this way, they become the fourth duo to achieve their place in the last event of the season, which will take place from November 14 to 21 at the Pala Alpitour in Turin (Italy).
With titles in Madrid and Cincinnati, two Masters 1000, this season they accumulate a record of 24-10, including the finals of Wimbledon and Acapulco.
Granollers will participate in this competition for the sixth time. In 2012, the Spaniard achieved victory in the tournament together with his compatriot Marc López. Meanwhile, for the Argentine it will be the second participation after 2020 (they reached the semifinals in that opportunity).
It should be noted that the first classified couple was that of Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic. The Croats won nine titles this season.
What’s more, Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury, US Open champions, and Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut, Roland Garros champions, also secured their places in Turin.
