The winner of this series will be determined by the sum of points from the two games: the first on Saturday, October 2 at Starlight Stadium in Langford and the second on October 9 in Valparaíso, Chile. The winner will qualify for Americas 2 playoff and will face the loser of the Americas 1 playoff (to be played between the United States and Uruguay) in July 2022.
Both coaches confirmed the lineups in a clash that will mark the course of both for the World Cup. Chile never participated in a maximum event and Canada has always been present since 1987.
