The artist Rob The Original was commissioned to make an impressive mural in the gym Canelo Team on San Diego, California, with a photograph of Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez and Eddy reynoso.
The work of art is placed inside the gym where the boxer from Guadalajara trains, next to the exercise equipment and the ring.
From the photography he was inspired by Rob It was one that occurred after his fight with Billy joe saunders, on May 6 at the AT&T Stadium, on Arlington, Texas.
In that contest, Canelo knocked out in the seventh round Saunders to keep three of the four belts in the super middle division.
At the end of that fight, in which more than 65 thousand people entered, they gave an applause to the Jalisco boxer and also to Eddy.
That was one of the best nights in the professional career of the fighter and the coach, as he described Reynoso, since it was also cheered.
That was the first step he took Saul to become the first unified 168-pound champion by removing his belt from the OMB.
Also, the right uppercut that he landed caused a fracture in the right cheekbone to Billy joe, who since then has not returned to the ring.
He recently said that he needs a good fight with a good pay to fight again, as he has already secured his future and that of his children.
It will be next November 6 when I fight against Caleb Plant, monarch of the super middleweight division by the FIB, at MGM Grand Garden from The Vegas, Nevada.
