The All Blacks and Springboks played a great game at the close of the Rugby Championship. After a great start to the game, the South African team fell in intensity after the first 20 minutes and head coach Jacques Nienaber surprised with the complete change of the front row 38 minutes into the first half before a line near the New Zealand ingoal.
That way, Ox Nché, Bongi Mbonambi and Trevor Nyakane left the court before the closing of the first stage. In their places, they entered: Steven Kitshoff, Malcolm Marx and Vincent Koch.
The substitutions came after a very favorable passage for the men in black who reversed the initial disadvantage to end the first half 20-14, in favor of the All Blacks.
However, the change of air that the movement from the bench meant, gave another air to the South African team that in the second half was superior and achieved an agonizing victory by 31-29.
