The Argentine Rugby Union was informed that in a meeting of partners held on Thursday in the Country San Diego, located in the Province of Buenos Aires, The possibility of selling a 12-hectare plot of land to the UAR for the construction of the Rugby Neurological Center (CNR) was approved.
The CNR is a project approved unanimously by the Council and the Assembly of the UAR. In its facilities, all the clubs that make up the base on which this sport is founded in Argentina will be trained and educated at all levels, who will have access to it, and from there the contents of the Conecta Rugby educational platform will also be produced and distributed. .
The venue will become the training center for Los Pumas, the selected male and female seven, Argentina XV, Los Pumitas, Jaguares XV and any other team that, in the future, represents the UAR. In addition, the complex will have offices, training rooms, a gym, recovery rooms, medical offices, hospitality, six natural grass courts and one synthetic grass courts, and parking for cars and buses, among other services.
From the step taken in the San Diego Club Assembly, it is planned to advance in the formal aspects of the land purchase – sale operation.
In this way, the UAR took a key step towards the realization of this initiative, which will benefit rugby across the country.
