María Fassi creates a foundation to promote golf in low-income children

With the firm intention of promoting golf in special and low-income children, Mexican golfer María Fassi announced her new foundation

The Mexican golfer Maria Fassi announced the birth of the ‘María Fassi Foundation’ with the ‘Fassi’s Friends’ program, the main objective of which is to disseminate and promote golf among special and low-income children.

“It is one of the most important days of my life, I am very grateful to all the people who have supported this project. Thanks to my family who have always been the sponsors, ”said Fassi. ‘Fassi’s Friends’ is a golf clinic for special and low-income children to meet and learn the game of the sport practiced by the Hidalgo and who has her as one of the two Mexicans in the LPGA.

The goal of the Maria Fassi Foundation is to create inclusion so that children of all abilities come together to learn and grow the game of golf through Fassi’s Friends.

“The main goal of Fassi’s Friends is to create inclusion in the game of golf and allow all ages, genders and abilities to come together and learn. This will be an exciting environment to learn the game. And parents are encouraged to watch from a distance, ”added the University of Arkansas graduate.

Similarly, the project has the backing of First Tee, one of the most successful programs worldwide and that supports foundations linked to golf for the development of this sport in childhood.

“This program will offer inclusive, youth-friendly clinics with targeted opportunities to allow any child to participate. We are delighted to announce our association with the Maria Fassi Foundation and we are excited that First Tee – NWA will be the home of Fassi’s friends, ”concluded the Hidalgo.
