France 2023: This will be the fixture of Uruguay with its debut against the local

With the victory against the United States and the qualification to the 2023 World Cup guaranteed, Uruguay is already looking at what will be a new participation in a RWC. The Teros will make up Group A along with the homeowners, New Zealand, Italy and the winner of the Africa qualy.

The debut of the Charruas will be the Thursday, September 14, in Lille, against France. It will be the first duel between the two teams in a World Cup and will mark the beginning of the campaign for those led by Esteban Meneses.

The second game for Los Teros will be against Italy, on Wednesday 20 at the Stade de Nice. For his part, a week later, the Wednesday 27, the rival for the Uruguayans will be the best classified in Africa, at the Olympique de Lyon stadium.

The closure of the Latin Americans in the group stage will be neither more nor less than before the All Blacks, in what will also be the first time that both teams meet in a World Cup for seniors. The match will take place on the same stage as against Africa 1, Thursday, October 5.

With less than two years for the dream to become a reality, Uruguay already knows who to think of in the face of a competition that will have it, once again, against the best teams as equals.
