At the beginning of each tournament, the Buenos Aires Rugby Union announced the corresponding regulations for all its competitions. Here is a summary from the Top 12 until Development.

When there is only one date left for the completion of the first round of the URBA Top 12 DIRECTV Cup presented by Zurich, four days for the closing of the first round of the First A, B, C and Second tournaments; two for Third and three for Development; The classification systems in each category and the tiebreaker mechanisms, if necessary, are detailed below.

Art. 5. Tie-breaks in the final positions of the tournaments of the Superior Divisions

If for any reason it is necessary to break any position in the leaderboards at the end of each stage of the tournament, in all DIVISIONS, criteria that ONLY contemplate THE PERFORMANCE of the teams tied with each other will be considered.

When to apply a tiebreaker criterion it is necessary to compare results in which a team has yielded points to any of the teams involved in the tie, all the results of this team with those tied as well as the goals and tries will not be taken into account.

First, the following tiebreaker criteria will apply:

1st Highest number of match points obtained in matches with each other. 2nd Greater number of games won against each other. 3rd Best difference of so many in favor minus so many against each other. 4º Greater quantity of so many between them. 5th Best try difference for less tries against each other. 6th Greater number of tries among themselves.

If the application of the aforementioned criteria does not result in a tiebreaker, then criteria arising from the TOTAL of the matches played in the zone by each of the teams that are still tied will be considered.

Art. 6. Bonus scoring system

It will be applied in the tournaments of the Superior, Intermediate and Pre-intermediate Divisions.

1) 4 Pts. Per game won 2) 2 Pts. Per game tied 3) 0 Pts. Per game lost 4) 1 additional BONUS POINT will be awarded for each of the following BONUSES achieved.

Art. 7. Tie-breaking system in case of ties in Semifinals and Finals

Finals: if there is the case of a match that will end in a tie, the criterion to tie the tie will be as follows:
