With almost ten years as a professional boxer and the last three world champion, Emanuel “Vaquero” Navarrete is on the radar of legendary Mexican world champions like Carlos Zarate and Alfonso Zamora, the second who even sees him as idol wood.
“The Cowboy He is a very good fighter and hits like a mule kick, ”he said. Alfonso Zamora in an interview with LEFT PUNCH. “I see a lot of future for that boy because he is dedicated and responsible, and they take him step by step.”
Navarrete He debuted as a professional boxer on February 18, 2012 and to date has a 34-1, 29 record by way of knockout. On December 8, 2018 he won his first world title at Madison Square Garden against Isaac dogboe, the super bantamweight World Boxing Organization (WBO) and that he defended five times before leaving it vacant.

For Zárate, the Cowboy is good, but nobody has the wood of an idol
The Cañas Zárate, for its part, recognizes the Navarrete cowboy as one of the best Mexican monarchs today, although he considers that there are no idols at the moment.
“There are several who are making history,” commented the Cañas Zárate. “The Cowboy he’s a good fighter, he hits hard. I see Mexican boxing well, we will always be in the top places ”.
Questioned if Navarrete would be among his candidates to be an idol, he made it clear that it will be difficult for someone to fill the shoes of boxers of the size of Raúl “Mouse” Macías, Rubén “Púas” Olivares or Julio Cesar Chavez, but he recognized the effort that the Cowboy and other champions.
“Right now there aren’t any of those idols,” he says.
