The brazilian Norma Dumont continues his rise into featherweight UFC with a solid victory in the main event of the Fight Night 195 at APEX in Las Vegas.
‘The Immortal‘defeated the bantamweight contender by unanimous decision, Aspen ladd, who replaced at the last minute Holly holm, who withdrew from the event due to injury.
Dumont was superior in all aspects of the fight to Ladd, who had his best moment in the fourth round, after being in a favorable position in the only knockdown of the fight, but did not capitalize to hurt the face of the Brazilian.
In the last round, with everything against it, Ladd went on the attack in search of a finish that would give him victory and caused a nosebleed in Dumont, but failed to impress the judges, who gave cards 49-46, 49-46 and 48-47, all in favor of the ‘Immortal’.
Dumont won in all stats, with 113 total hits connected for 86 of Ladd, in power shots the difference was 65 to 33 and he had the only knockdown of the fight in his only attempt in the fourth round, while Ladd failed any of his five attempts.
