In their networks, Juan Ignacio Chela said that last week he underwent surgery for a brain aneurysm and that he is improving, already at home. The Argentine, former Top 15 in the world, is the current coach of Diego Schwartzman and hopes to continue in a frank recovery to return to his normal activity.
Chela, owner of six ATP titles and more than 300 singles victories, is used to traveling the circuit in his current role, that of coach of Schwartzman, the best tennis player in his country, currently among the 15 best in the world.
Active in the networks, Chela reappeared this time and commented this Monday on Twitter that last Thursday he underwent surgery for a brain aneurism, in a scheduled operation.
Chela did not accompany Schwartzman in some tournaments and underwent said operation at the Sagrada Familia Clinic in Buenos Aires. Now he takes care of himself, surrounded by his affections, thinking of returning to his activity as a coach.
Perhaps he will reappear directly helping Schwartzman in the preseason, with a view to 2022.
