TJ Watt goes to punch against Alex Collins' carry ball

The linebacker hit Collins while trying to get the ball out of him and the judges found unnecessary rudeness and no unsportsmanlike conduct.

During the Sunday night NFL Week 6 game between Pittsburgh steelers and Seattle Seahaws, there was a curious play on the grating that seemed much more worthy of a ring.

Steelers outside linebacker TJ Watt delivered multiple punches to Seahawks running back Alex Collins while trying to stop his advance to the goal line, however, the judges flagged unnecessary rudeness and no unsportsmanlike conduct, which would have meant immediate expulsion.

With 10:36 on the third quarter clock, Collins carried the ball down the middle to the Steelers’ 5-yard line, where he encountered the rival defensive line, including Watt, who took advantage of the hold made by his teammates to throw punches at him..

Given this, the judges punished the home team with 3 yards due to the proximity to the promised zone – usually a 15-yard penalty-They did, however, overlook possible aggression from the Pittsburgh defensive player.

With the score 0-14, after that action, Seattle Seahawks got the first touchdown of the duel thanks to a two-yard rushing approach by Collins himself.
