The 4-1 win of the last date at home against Huracán was too much for “Archu”, who won a match of the last 14 he played and the fans expressed all their anger during the defeat with the Globe. After the meeting there were several meetings at the stadium and even at Luis Guillón’s property, where the team was concentrated for morning training.
Sanguinetti will leave Banfield after being a finalist in the Diego Maradona Cup and qualifying for the next Copa Sudamericana. His debut had been with a victory over River and another two in a row in a start to get excited.
So far in the championship, the team is 24th in the standings and added 15 points (the product of two wins, nine draws and six falls). In addition, he was eliminated from the Argentine Cup by San Telmo in the round of 16 and the last smile was on September 25 with the 2-0 at home to Atlético Tucumán.
Sanguinetti the 12th coach who leaves his position in this tournament, in 17 disputed dates. This is how he adds to the list that they make up: Omar De Felippe (Atlético Tucumán), Fernando Gago (Aldosivi), Miguel Ángel Russo (Boca), Juan Antonio Pizzi (Racing), Sergio Rondina (Arsenal), Sergio Coleoni (Central Córdoba), Leonardo Madelón (Platense), Juan Manuel Azconzábal (Unión), Sebastián Méndez (Godoy Cruz) and the duo Leandro Martini-Mariano Messera (Gimnasia La Plata).
