Faf de Klerk had surgery on his hip and will not play for five months

Rugby star South African and of the Sharks out from England, Klerk’s Faf, underwent a hip surgery that had been afflicting him since he faced the British & Irish Lions and now he will have to be five months off the courts until he achieves an optimal recovery.

The scrum half initially sustained the problem during the series against the British & Irish Lions where he came out in the second test and missed the third. Participated in most of the Rugby Championship matches and played a key role in the victory over New Zealand in the final match of the tournament.

The bad thing was that the problem during these last matches of the competition and Sale Rugby Director Alex Sanderson confirmed the player’s discharge for the next few months: “There was no other option, he needed an operation,” Sanderson said.

“We hope it will be less than five months, maybe around four months, but we’ll see. I’m not happy with that, but what can you do? We have to stay happy ”, added the English manager.

“Marland Yarde had the same problem, had the same surgery and is now playing as well as ever. Injuries are part of the game, “concluded the Sharks boss.
