At 20, Jannik Sinner does not stop breaking records

He does not stop breaking records. The overwhelming triumph of Jannik Sinner, number 13 in the ATP ranking, against Diego Schwartzman (14th) in the final of the ATP 250 in Antwerp by 6-2 and 6-2 made the 20-year-old Italian the youngest tennis player, after Novak Djokovic (1st), to win 5 titles on the ATP circuit.

Sinner’s talent is demonstrated, and even more so with his young age and the achievements he has had so far. In his career he has already won five trophies: in 2020, it was consecrated in Sofia, while this season in Melbourne, Washington, Sofia and now in Antwerp.

Immediately this situation goes back to what he achieved Djokovic in 2007, when at the age of 19 he reached his fifth ATP title, of the 85 he has. Until then, his consecrations had been in Amersfoort and Metz, in 2006, and Adelaide, Miami and Estoril, in 2007.

Sinner’s present comes in spades: maintains the best ranking of his career, has a guaranteed place in the ATP Finals in Milan (Next Gen) and is fighting for a spot in the ATP Finals in Turin.
