Foyth, with hamstring injury, misses games against Uruguay and Brazil

The Argentine defender of the Spanish Villarreal, Juan Foyth suffers a hamstring injury in his left leg that will prevent him from attending the next call-up of the Argentine National Team, for the double date of November.

Both Foyth and Spanish international striker Gerard Moreno were subjected to medical tests this Monday, after suffering injuries during the match between Villarreal and Athletic Club, last Saturday and, in both cases, it was confirmed that their hamstrings were affected.

Argentina will play on November 11 against Uruguay and, five days later, against Brazil, on dates 13 and 14 of the CONMEBOL qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, so the Villarreal defender will not be able to enter Lionel’s call. Scaloni, since it is estimated that he will have to be out for about four weeks.
