Murray-Alcaraz: seven games in one hour of play

As exhausting as it is intense as it is pleasant to watch Andy Murray and Carlos Alcaraz play the way they do and they did after the first set in Austria.

They saw each other just a few days ago in Indian Wells. At that time, the Scotsman won 5-7, 6-3 and 6-2 in a match lasting more than three hours.

They crossed the ocean and found themselves in Vienna with the same trend. Pass the ball over the net with marathon points for the enjoyment of those present.

Five games in 45 minutes, seven in 60 (change of balls after 68 “rallies” plus warm-up) and a set that was resolved in 65 (6-3) for the Spanish (78 points).

The statistics gave a 15-12 in winners in favor of Alcaraz and another 11 errors of the British against only 5 of his rival.
