Inter Milan announced on Thursday the extension of Argentine striker Lautaro Martínez’s contract until June 30, 2026.
“I am very happy to be here for a long time. I send you a big hug, ‘forza Inter’. See you at the stadium”, Lautaro Martínez said in a video message published by Inter on their social networks.
The also international with the Argentine National Team arrived at Inter Milan in 2018 and this year faces his fourth consecutive season with the Milanese club, after proclaiming himself champion of the Italian league with Inter last season.
Lautaro, born in 1997 and who made his debut at the Argentine Racing Club de Avellaneda, was also proclaimed champion of the Copa América held this summer in Brazil, a tournament in which he scored 3 goals.
Since joining Inter, he has played a total of 144 games and scored 54 goals, while his balance with the Argentine elastic is 17 goals in 33 games.
