Djokovic will make his presentation in Paris against Fucsovics

After leaving the circuit for practically two months, the Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic (1st) will return to action in singles mode this Tuesday, when he faces the Hungarian Marton Fucsovics (40th) on second round of the Paris Masters 1000.

Despite having debuted with victory this Monday in doubles, together with his compatriot Janko Tipsarevic, the 85-time ATP-level champion, four in 2021, longs to quickly forget the final lost to German Alexander Zverev at the US Open, in September, when he squandered a once-in-a-lifetime chance to win the annual Grand Slam, and oil the machine for the ATP Finals, an appointment that has him as the top candidate and which will be held in Turin, Italy, between November 14 and 21.

The one born in Belgrade, 34 years ago, will compete for the fifteenth edition of the French tournament, in which he raised five of his 36 trophies in the category, because was established in 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2019.

The history between the two corresponds to Djokovic, who celebrated in all three matches, one in the current season: 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 and 6-0 at the US Open 2018, 4-6, 6-4 and 6-1 in Doha 2019, and 6-3, 6-4 and 6-4 at Wimbledon 2021.

It should be remembered that the meeting will be broadcast from 3:30 pm ARG, through ESPN on Star +.
