Aaron Rodgers Tests Positive for Covid-19 and Will Not Play for Packers Against Arizona, Source Reveals

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, a source confirmed to ESPN.

Green Bay had been without receivers Davante Adams and Allen Lazard for COVID for last Thursday’s game against Arizona.

Adams, who had been on the COVID-19 reserve list, was not in practice Monday when the Packers returned from their weekend off. Lazard was considered to be a close contact with Adams, and because Lazard is not vaccinated, he was automatically ruled out for five days.

NFL Network first reported on Rodgers’ positive test.
