Messi misses PSG's duel against Bordeaux due to knee discomfort

Argentine star Lionel Messi will miss this Saturday’s Paris Saint-Germain match against Girondins de Bordeaux, as he continues with his knee treatment at the Parisian club’s facilities.

The PSG medical report revealed that Messi stayed working Friday morning at the Ooredoo Sports City on his “knee pain” and “hamstring pain.”

Messi traveled to Madrid this week, according to various media reports to treat his knee discomfort at a clinic specializing in regenerative therapies.

PSG will face Girondins de Bordeaux on Saturday in the thirteenth day of Ligue 1 with the losses of Leandro Paredes, Sergio Ramos, Marco Verratti, Rafinha and Presnel Kimpembe.

RAMOS, NEAR
PSG also reported that Spanish international defender Sergio Ramos will resume training with the group next week.

Ramos has hardly trained with the rest of his teammates due to injuries since joining PSG last July and has not made an official debut with the club so far.

Ramos arrived in Paris touched in the left soleus and when it seemed that he could recover last September, he suffered a relapse that again took him away from training and led him to exercise alone.

The defender played his last game on May 5, in the Champions League semi-final tie between Real Madrid and Chelsea.
