The Uruguayan soccer team will have a new loss due to injury in the face of the next double date of the South American Qualifiers, in which Celeste will have to face Argentina as a local and Bolivia as a visitor.
This is Sebastián Coates, Sporting Lisboa’s central defender who was injured in the match against Pacos de Ferreira on Sunday.
The AUF announced that “the footballer Sebastián Coates ended today’s meeting with intense pain and a significant stroke in his right knee, not being in a position to travel to join the Uruguayan team. It is estimated that the footballer will be absent for a period of no less than two weeks ”.
The loss of Coates joins those of Sebastián Cáceres, Matías Viña, Federico Valverde, Nicolás De La Cruz, Giorgian De Arrascaeta, Maximiliano Gómez and Edinson Cavani.
