Dominican Republic achieves five Silver Bats in 2021

Three of the award-winning Dominicans are among the finalists for the MVP awards of their respective circuits

Dominican Republic could not beat the record set in 2020 with the award Silver bat, however, managed to obtain five winners of the award that recognizes the best hitters of each position throughout the season of Big leagues.

In the National League, Fernando Tatis Jr. and Juan Soto won the award at shortstop and outfielder, respectively. He headed the American league in OBP (.401), SLG (.601), OPS (1.002) and OPS + (169), added to a batting average of .311 and 111 RBIs.
