Marcelo Bielsa appeared this Wednesday in an image recreated by Leeds United, from England, with mate, cupcakes and a thermos, with the Newell’s Old Boys crest and the Argentine flag, as a celebration of Tradition Day.

“Mate and cupcakes can never be absent … neither work and passion. Happy Tradition Day for all the Argentine people!”, Published the official account in Spanish of Leeds United on the social network Twitter.
Bielsa, with his usual training clothes, has three paintings behind him: two belong to the English club and the third to the Rosario stadium that bears his name (Coloso Marcelo Bielsa) with Newell’s bias in the Diego Armando Maradona rostrum.
The image is completed with the Monument to the Flag located in the city that gave birth to the former Argentine national team between 1998 and 2004.
Bielsa joined Leeds in the 2018/2019 season and achieved promotion to the Premier League in 2019/2020 after 16 years. Since then, the ‘Loco’ is considered an idol.
The celebration of Tradition Day became official in 1939, before the approval by Congress of Law No. 4756, to honor and celebrate the gaucho traditions in the Province of Buenos Aires.
National Law No. 21,154 of 1975, established it for the entire Argentine territory, in homage to the writer José Hernández.
