Another casualty in Turin; Norrie enters for Tsitsipas

The low of Matteo Berrettini (7th in the world rankings) was obviously not the only one of these “bumpy” ATP Finals in Turin.

This is the case of Stefanos Tsitsipas (4th) who yielded to Andrey Rublev (5th) in the debut and did not reach the second match, against Casper Ruud (8th).

Just as Jannik Sinner (11th) entered and won, Cameron Norrie (12th) will try to keep up. And he will even have his own chance to advance to the semifinals. Of course, in the last game of the Group he will face no less than Novak Djokovic (1st).

The Greek, with pain in his right elbow, had already abandoned his debut in Indian Wells (Vs. Alexei Popyrin) and needs a break for 2022.

The call to Aslan Karatsev as substitute in case Hubert Hurkacz continues on the same path of abandoning the tournament.
