Davis Cup: Due to Covid-19, in Austria it will be played without an audience

A few days from the beginning of the Davis Cup Finals, which will take place between November 25 and December 5 in three cities in Europe, it was known that in Innsbruck (Austria), one of them, the public will not be allowed, due to the confinement imposed by the government of your country in the presence of a new outbreak of Coronavirus.

Despite the new restrictions, which will be in force from next Monday, the organizers confirmed that the event will be carried out. It is worth mentioning that the Olympiaworld Innsbruck will be the scene of the matches corresponding to Group C (France, Great Britain and Czech Republic) and Group F (Serbia, Germany and Austria), as well as some quarter-final matches.

For now, Austria is the first country in Europe to re-establish full quarantine. The other Davis Cup venues are Madrid Spain) and Turin (Italy).
