“I’m going for that title”: Carlos Cuadras hopes to beat Rungvisai again

After 2021 without fighting, Carlos Cuadras would return to activity in a world title fight against the Thai Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, confident that he can defeat him again and show that he is still up for great things.

“He is a very strong fighter, who hits hard,” commented the Prince Cuadras of his next rival. “I think his style lends me to moving, to be countering him and taking good care of his head.”

On May 31, 2014, Stables beat Sr. Rungvisai in Mexico City to snatch the super flyweight title of the World Boxing Council (WBC), and although the date is not confirmed, they could meet again on January 22.

“It was a fight that was already there, it was only postponed,” he said. Stables. “It’s good that he’s still standing, I’m still preparing, thinking about the left-handed fighter and ready to win that fight again.”
