After the hard fall of The Pumas in view of Ireland, World Rugby summoned Thomas Lavanini for an audience of independent discipline after the expulsion of the Argentine second line last weekend in Dublin.
“Argentina’s second line, Tomás Lavanini, will attend an independent disciplinary hearing after receiving a red card for an act of foul play contrary to Law 9.20 (a) (dangerous play in ruck / maul) in the match against Ireland on November 21, 2021. The player will attend a hearing via videoconference before an independent Judicial Commission chaired by Roddy Dunlop (Scotland), along with two other authorities to be confirmed. The hearing will take place on a date to be agreed with the player and his representatives ” , the statement says.
