Toros del Este, Gigantes del Cibao and Leones del Escogido receive major league reinforcements in a night of premieres in Dominican ball
Los Toros del Este reported that Cuban player Yasiel Puig will make his debut tonight playing as designated hitter in the game in which the East hosts the Águilas Cibaeñas.
The former Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians will make his second foray into Dominican baseball after spending five games in the regular season and seven in the semifinal series of the 2021 campaign.
