Carlos Alcaraz, after knowing his positive for coronavirus, received countless displays of affection to pass the bad drink which was his absolute debut in the Davis Cup with Spain.
“I am saddened by the way in which I miss such an important and super special tournament for me as the Davis Cup is”, wrote the 18-year-old player that he was going to close a great year for him defending the colors of the Fury.
For his part, the number one fan appeared. Rafael Nadal, who is always very attentive to the future of the Davis Cup and was the local hero in the 2019 consecration, did not want to stop saying present in this difficult moment of the team: “When something like this happens, the competition takes a back seat. The most important thing is health and hopefully there are no more cases.”
Much encouragement to the entire Spanish team after the news we received today. When something like this happens, the competition takes a back seat. The most important thing is health and I hope there are no more cases. A hug to all! @RFETenis @DavisCup @Davis cup https://t.co/l371apSdj6
