Rams vs. Packers - Game Report - November 28, 2021

GREEN BAY (AP) – Aaron Rodgers endured the pain of a toe injury, threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score Sunday in the Green Bay Packers’ 36-28 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams beat Green Bay 11-0 in the fourth quarter, but their attempt to come back came to an end when Adrian Amos recovered a short kick with 17 seconds left.

Rodgers completed 28 of 45 passes for 307 yards and the Packers bounced back from a 34-31 loss in their visit to the Minnesota Vikings. The current NFL MVP threw 7-yard touchdown passes to Randall Cobb and 5-yard touchdown passes to AJ Dillon.

Green Bay (9-3) has never lost consecutive games in the same season since Matt LaFleur took over as head coach three years ago.

Rodgers, who did not train all week, said he suffered a broken little toe. The injury led to him practicing only once this week after his 385-yard, four-touchdown performance at Minnesota.

The Rams (7-4) have lost their third game in a row and continued to make mistakes that led to scoring opportunities for Green Bay, which converted three turnovers into 16 points.
