CALI VALLEY – Erick gordillo, standard bearer of the Guatemalan delegation, did not disappoint and gave the country the first gold medal in the Cali 2021 Junior Pan American Games.
The swimmer hung the gold metal on 400 meters of the test combined with an extraordinary time of 4: 26.08. Guatemala he also got bronze thanks to Roberto Bonilla Flores.
With the triumph Gordillo, in addition, obtains the ticket to play the Pan American Games in Santiago 2023.

The Guatemalan flag bearer imposed conditions on the Hernando Botero Swimming Pools in Cali and beat Brazilian Stephan de Freitas, who finished in second place (04: 24.35).
Bonilla Flores occupied the third box of the competition with a time of 4: 26.08.
