Murray-Zverev, the great absentees in Great Britain-Germany

If there is a cup duel par excellence in the Quarters of the Davis Cup Finals 2021 it is the one that Great Britain and Germany will carry out in Innsbruck.

Although, without a doubt, both combined will miss prominent names. TOndy Murray, currently 134 in the world rankings but former No. 1 and champion of three Grand Slams on one side; Alexander Zverev, current 3 of the world and last Olympic champion and of the ATP Finals, of the other.

An even series with Joe Salisbury / Neal Skupski is expected in the doubles and Cameron Norrie with Dan Evans as singlists. While Kevin Krawietz / Tim Puetz are a dynamic duo and Jan-Lennard Struff and Dominik Koepfer they complete the initial training for the Germans.

The British (10-time champions of the competition) were winners of Group C and the Germans (three titles) of F. The winner of the series will go to Madrid against the winner of Russia-Sweden.
