Damian Lillard (lower abdominal tendinopathy), down 10 days

Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard will be reevaluated in 10 days after an MRI confirmed he has lower abdominal tendinopathy, the team announced Wednesday.

Lillard was left out of Tuesday’s 110-92 victory over the Detroit Pistons to treat the injury he has been dealing with since playing for Team USA at this summer’s Olympics.

Lillard has struggled to start the season, but has maintained that injury is not the reason for his recent losing streak.

Through 20 games, the shooting guard averages 21.5 points while shooting 39.7% from the field, including just 30.2% from range 3. He is also averaging 4.0 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 35.7 minutes.
