Halle ATP confirmed Zverev and Medvedev for 2022

The 29th edition of the Halle Turf Tournament which will take place from June 11 to 19, 2022 began to provide certainties of his main draw

The most important tennis competition in Germany ensured the presence of two of the three most important tennis players of the 2021 season: Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev.

The US Open champion is the main candidate to succeed Novak Djokovic at the top of the world rankings. Meanwhile, the Olympic Gold medalist and winner of the ATP Finals, as well as the Canadian super talent Felix Auger-Aliassime (11 in the world ranking) plus the Olympic Silver medalist Karen Khachanov (29 in the ATP) and the ace of Japan Kei Nishikori (47) have already confirmed their participation.

The event crowned six German winners since its inaugural edition in 1993: Michael Stich (1994), Nicolas Kiefer (1999), David Prinosil (2000), Tommy Haas (2009 and 2012), Philipp Kohlschreiber (2011) and Florian Mayer (2016 ). Roger Federer won his 10th title in 2019 and the last champion was the surprise Ugo Humbert.
