Davis Cup is missing its last semi-finalist

The 2021 Davis Cup Finals are about to meet their latest semi-finalist. The fourth round of the quarterfinals between Russia and Sweden ends the multi-venue series to bring together the best in Madrid. Whoever wins will join Croatia, Serbia and Germany.

Although on paper there is an obvious superiority for the Russians, the spirit of the maximum team tournament does not allow any match to be sentenced.

Daniil Medvedev (2nd in the world ranking) and Andrey Rublev (5th) shouldn’t have much trouble to solve the series against the Ymer brothers.

Then they are also favorites in the doubles, although the advantages are even as the Nordic couple (Andre Goransson and Robert Lindstedt) tend to perform well every time they play together.
