The games that Tomás Lavanini will miss due to the World Rugby suspension

Thomas Lavanini was suspended for five weeks for World Rugby, for the expulsion he received against Ireland, so he will lose everything that remains of the year with Clermont, both in the Top 14 and in the Champions Cup.

The Argentine second line was sanctioned for five weeks, but it could be reduced to four, in case of successfully completing the Coaches Intervention Plan, aimed at modifying specific techniques and technical problems that contributed to foul play.

In principle, Lavanini will miss the following matches with Clermont:

Clermont-Biarritz (Top 14) – December 4, 2021
Clermont-Ulster (Champions Cup) – December 11, 2021
Sale-Clermont (Champions Cup) – December 18, 2021
Brive-Clermont (Top 14) – December 26, 2021
Clermont-Toulouse (Top 14) – Jan 1, 2021 (This match could be played if you successfully complete the Main Contact Process Coaching Intervention).
