Joaquín Correa, confirmed drop for Real Madrid-Inter

The Argentinian Joaquin Correa forward of Inter, underwent medical tests on Monday that detected a muscle injury in the flexors of the left thigh, so he will miss Tuesday’s game against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

Inter reported that Correa went in the Italian morning to the Humanitas clinic in Rozzano, on the outskirts of Milan (north), where doctors confirmed an injury that requires “new controls next week.”

The Argentine striker, signed last summer for 40 million euros from Lazio, was injured last Saturday in Inter’s triumph at Roma (0-3).

The “Tucu” noticed a strong discomfort in a thigh after trying to dribble on the edge of the area and retired in tears.

He will not be at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, where Inter play the first group place in the Champions League.

Coach Simone Inzaghi will bet on the Argentine Lautaro Martínez alongside the Bosnian Edin Dzeko, with the Chilean Alexis Sánchez as the first alternative.
