Berrio from Valle del Cauca added 170 kilos in the Olympic total after achieving 75 in the snatch and 95 in two halves, a mark that could have been notably better if she had not erred in 77 and 78 in the first modality and twice with 98 in the second.

Thanyathon Sukcharoen took the gold from her, with 172 kilos (77 + 95), and the bronze went to the Turkish Saziye Erdogan, with 169 (76 + 93). Venezuelan Rosielis Quintana finished with 153 kilos (69 + 84).

From December 7 to 17 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the 86th edition of the World Weightlifting Championships takes place.
