The back of the Wallabies, Hunter Paisami, he finally renewed his contract with both Reds as with Rugby Australia until the end of 2023.
Since its debut in 2020, Paisami has established itself as a mainstay of Queensland’s bottom line, helping them clinch an AU Super Rugby title in 2021 despite missing the final due to a facial fracture. In addition, he has also made a difference in the Australian national team during the nine games he played during the last year.
The 23-year-old was eager to re-sign, as he seeks to take advantage and add minutes of play for the next World Cup in France 2023.
“It is an honor to have re-signed with the Reds and Rugby Australia”, Paisami said and added: “I am very excited to be part of this team and what can come from now on. I have really enjoyed my time in Queensland so far and am very happy to be staying here with my family for at least the next two years. “
