In Argentina, the action for points will start in January

The next season will begin with pure competition in Argentina: on January 2, the Dove Men + Care South American Legion will be launched Tiger Challenger, which will be held in the Hacoaj Yacht Club and it will be organized by the Argentine Tennis Association.

The contest, to be held about 30 kilometers from the center of the City of Buenos Aires, will be Challenger 50 category (50 points for the champion) and will be the first of a series of four already confirmed that will be played in Florianópolis (Brazil) on the 10th, in Concepción (Chile) on the 17th and in Santa Cruz (Bolivia) on the 24th.

Diego Schwartzman, the best Argentine tennis player of the moment, participated in the official launch as part of the host club’s party. The main court of Hacoaj bears from this Saturday the name of the Small, who took his first steps there and, surrounded by children and partners, thanked the tribute and celebrated the realization of a professional circuit tournament.

This season, Argentine tennis players won 20 Challenger titles, a record for a nation. Thus, the mark that Argentina also reached in 2007 and 2016 was equaled. In 2005, France had also won 20 tournaments in this category.
