Bud Dupree returns from injury just to face Steelers

Tennessee designated Dupree to return to practice Monday. Fully participated in the practice

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Titans activated outside linebacker Bud Dupree from injured reserve on Saturday. The return of Dupree coincides with the journey of the Titans to the Heinz Field to face his former team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, on Sunday.

Dupree suffered an injury on the first defensive play of the Los Angeles’ victory. Titans 23-21 over the New Orleans Saints in Week 10. The seventh-year pass rusher also missed games while recovering from a torn ACL last December playing for Steelers.

Tennessee appointed Dupree to return to practice on Monday. He fully participated in the practice and showed that he was ready to return.

“I think it’s been good to go out and have enough guys to practice and not be where we were a few weeks ago in light training mode,” the Los Angeles coach said Friday. Titans, Mike vrabel. “It was good for him to be able to go out and practice and move.”

Dupree has one sack, six hits to quarterback and one forced fumble in seven games. The Titans signed Dupree to a five-year, $ 82.5 million contract in March.
