NBA Outbreak: Nets Next Two Games Postponed;  also 76ers vs.  Pelicans and Raptors vs.  Magic

The NBA postponed the Brooklyn Nets’ next two games due to the surge in COVID-19 that has decimated its roster, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Likewise, the games between the Philadelphia 76ers and New Orleans Pelicans, as well as Orlando against Toronto, the sources added.

Brooklyn will miss Sunday against the Denver Nuggets and Tuesday against the Washington Wizards.

The Nets currently have 10 players in the league’s health and safety protocols, including stars Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving.

The Cavaliers and Hawks also postponed their Sunday game after Cleveland had five COVID-19 positive players on Sunday.

In all, the NBA has postponed six games this season. The Chicago Bulls had two games postponed last week, but are scheduled to return to action Sunday night at home against the Los Angeles Lakers.
