This Monday the draw for the first phases of CONMEBOL Libertadores 2022. The Paraguayan Olimpia, a three-time winner of the Copa Libertadores de América, will start the 2022 edition of the main tournament on the continent against the Peruvian César Vallejo, in one of the three keys that Phase 1 will have.

This was established in the draw carried out this Monday at the Conmebol headquarters, in which it was also defined that if the ‘Dean’ advances to the round, he will play against the Colombian Atlético Nacional, winner of the tournament on two occasions.

On this occasion, six teams will compete in the first phase and the three winners will advance to a second stage in which another 13 clubs will await.

Finally, eight teams will play the third phase in which the winners will go to the groups and the losers will go to the Copa Sudamericana.

The first phase of the Copa Libertadores 2022 will be played between February 9 and 16, while the second will be between February 23 and March 2.
