Bradley Beal, out against Knicks for security protocols

The Washington Wizards announced that their star Bradley Beal would miss Thursday’s game against the New York Knicks due to health and safety protocols.

The 28-year-old Beal joins fellow incumbent Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on the protocols.

Beal, who lost his chance to play in the Olympics last year after testing positive for COVID-19, said earlier this season that he was not vaccinated.

The All-Star point guard is averaging 23.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.9 assists for the Wizards this season.
