Thomas Gallo: among the best youth players in the world in 2021

Thomas Gallo took a great first step, both in European rugby and in Los Pumas. His excellent year in Benneton and his debut in the Argentine national team earned him recognition both in Argentina and in the rest of the world. Without going any further, the Tucuman was selected as the best youth in his position of the season in the ranking that Planet Rugby put together, a list in which he left behind great promises such as Dan sheehan, Josh lord Y Louis lynagh.

One of the great joys of this 2021 for Argentine rugby was the rapid adaptation of Thomas Gallo to the front page of world rugby. The tucumano earned a place in the champion team of Benneton, which this year was consecrated in Pro 14 Rainbow Cup, and gave a hopeful image in his debut in Los Pumas. In that debut against Australia, Gallo had the luxury of supporting two tries and became the first mainstay to record two wins in his first international appearance since the beginning of the professional era.

Among what is most striking, it is possible to highlight his great presence at the point of contact, both to seal ruck situations and to generate problems in the rival attack, and he is slowly gaining fame as a tryman. His power, especially in the final meters, makes him one of the players who won the most attention among young people.
