The UK Boxing Commission, BBBoC for its acronym in English, announced that all boxing cards that were scheduled in the country for the month of January have been suspended, given the increase in cases of Covid 19.
The BBBoC Medical Panel recommended the suspension of the billboards, and the measure was followed by the commission. It was also announced that the situation will be reassessed at the end of the month to determine if boxing is reactivated for February, or if it remains on hiatus.

What boxing cards are suspended in the UK?
Among the boxing cards that were scheduled in the UK in January, the main fight was that of Chris Eubank Jr against Liam williams, to be held in Wales.
If the suspension is extended through February, there are other high-profile fights that could be affected.

- February 19: Kell Brook vs Amir Khan, in Manchester
- 26 of February. Josh Taylor vs Josh Catterall, in Scotland
Possible affectation for Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte
The suspension would also affect the negotiations for a fight between the British heavyweights. Tyson fury Y Dillian whyte, which was ordered by the CMB and that it was negotiated to be done in spring. However, not being able to take place in the UK would significantly affect income for both fighters.
